The study shows reduced reporting of deaths by heart disease, cancer, chronic respiratory, flu and pneumonia off sets the number of deaths reported as COVID-19. The total number of deaths in the U.S. from March 2020 to September 2020 remained the same as the previous 2-5 years.
The study was retraced not because the information was false, but because of concern the public would take COVID-19 less seriously if released.
